All the other blocks are made and I just need to finish some flying geese and log cabin sections and then off to my TT's to quilt it!

Log Cabin Bed Quilt and matching toiletries bag.

Here is a quilt I made for a friend. Then for Christmas I made her a matching toiletries bag with plastic lining so as to maintain the rustling noise like plastic shopping bags.

Jelly Roll Race - small quilt

As an interlude I have made a quick quilt for a bed topper, just as a break!

I brought the backing fabric forward as the binding, choosing to machine stitch it.

Border 8&9 complete ...with adjustments!

We TT's decided to change Mrs Billings' border arrangements. We did not like the aesthetics of the appearance of the wider solid borders. The flowers did need to be surrounded by a solid border at the 3/4' finished width.

Progressive photos follow.

I loved the fussy cutting of the flowers and love the overall effect of this one.

Couldn't help putting in the ones of Jax!

Quilt as I go on the Mrs Billings'....

I thought I had updated about the quilting as I go but I had not! Silly me! I plan to add batting as I increase the borders and quilt along the borders about 2 behind. In this way I still have enough room to add on the next border. Get it??? ...I hope I explained myself!

Border 7 Completed ... at last!

Finally, border 7 is completed, seemed to have taken forever!

The colours and fabric look great.

I've fussy cut the next border in the same fabric as other solid border, keeping it at 3/4" and just wait till you see border 9! You'll be in for a surprise!

Cat Quilt

This is a quick little quilt I made for a friend about to have her first bub! Cute eh?  Keepsake Quilting maintains a big variety of panels that I haven't seen elsewhere. It is refreshing to do a little something else as a break from Mrs Billings!
